Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced neural network architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to deploy AI solutions in healthcare, climate modeling, and autonomous systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI governance and bias mitigation
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to hybridize AI algorithms
- Secure federal and private research grants for frontier AI projects
- Mentor PhD interns and junior researchers in emerging AI paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 3+ years post-grad research
- Published record in top-tier ML/AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, generative models, and reinforcement learning
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed training frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale model deployment (100B+ parameters)
- Strong background in ethical AI development and bias mitigation
- Ability to secure competitive research funding (NSF, NIH, or DARPA)
- Preferred: Background in quantum machine learning or neuromorphic computing
