In this pivotal role, you will lead a cross-functional team in developing scalable, high-performance machine learning systems designed to dominate the competitive landscape of 2026 and beyond. You will bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and production-ready software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define and execute the long-term technical roadmap for AI and Machine Learning initiatives, specifically targeting innovations relevant to the 2026 ecosystem.
- System Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and secure microservices architecture for deep learning models and generative AI applications.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead proof-of-concept (PoC) projects for emerging technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Autonomous Agents.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the optimization of model inference and training pipelines to ensure sub-millisecond latency and high throughput.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML, including at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architect role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and experience with distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Apache Spark).
- Strategic Mindset: Deep understanding of the current AI landscape and the foresight to anticipate technological shifts leading up to 2026.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with innovative engineering solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
