Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions and industry disruptions
- Lead research initiatives in emerging tech domains including quantum computing, AR/VR convergence, and biotech interfaces
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof technologies into development cycles
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor junior technologists on future technology trends and innovation methodologies
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on 2026 tech paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, sustainable tech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy preferred
