Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and bio-convergence technologies
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and market inflection points
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget with KPI-driven resource allocation
- Build external partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies and speculative design thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with 5+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year lifecycles
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Strong background in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies preferred
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFSD) required
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 industry-disrupting innovations
