- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Architect strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks and responsible development practices
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and investors
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with proven track record of future-oriented initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Strong background in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous technological transitions
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD or MBA preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of implemented innovation projects demonstrating measurable impact
- Certification in futures thinking or strategic foresight (e.g., CFTR, CFP)
