Responsibilities
- Design and execute the 2026 innovation strategy spanning quantum computing, neurotech, and climate-positive technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing patent-pending solutions for next-generation human-machine interfaces
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and other future-focused research institutions
- Quantify market readiness for 2026-era technologies through scenario modeling and impact analysis
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members securing $500M+ in future funding
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab in Austin's emerging tech corridor
Qualifications
- 15+ years in emerging technology strategy with proven 2020-2025 paradigm-shifting initiatives
- PhD or equivalent in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or Quantum Information Science
- Published research in Nature Futures or IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics
- Expertise in forecasting exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI safety)
- Successful track record scaling R&D from concept to billion-dollar commercialization
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, and global innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACSF) and Advanced Technology Assessment
