Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology foresight strategies through trend analysis, scenario planning, and market research
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Present quarterly innovation roadmaps to the board with measurable ROI projections
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Design and implement Horizon Labs' 'Future-Ready' employee upskilling program
- Oversee the incubation of 3-5 moonshot projects annually with global impact potential
- Represent the company at international tech summits as a thought leader on 2026 digital transformation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology innovation with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with 2026+ technology applications
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets with agile methodologies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) required
