Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in forecasting technological and market trends through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.) for commercial viability
- Present executive-level insights to board members and key stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Drive organizational culture of adaptive innovation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing C-suite decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating published forecasts or implemented future-shaping initiatives
- Strong data modeling skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools
