Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and technological convergence
- Analyze emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology) to identify high-impact opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for global disruptions (climate, geopolitical, economic)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce strategic whitepapers and thought leadership on 2026+ industry transformations
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, corporate R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex futures
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP, APF) required
- Published thought leadership on future trends (articles, books, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
