Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology and societal trend forecast framework
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruption vectors and opportunity horizons
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation maturity and strategic alignment
- Author thought leadership content on emerging paradigms (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry symposiums
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Expertise in horizon scanning, systemic analysis, and scenario modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Experience building cross-organizational innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFM, CFP) preferred
