Responsibilities
- Forecast emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and translate insights into actionable innovation strategies
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology horizon scanning framework with quarterly trend reports
- Lead ideation workshops for disruptive product development using design-thinking methodologies
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market viability
- Build stakeholder narratives to align leadership on strategic pivots and investment priorities
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote speeches) positioning InnovateX as a future-ready leader
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with proven trend-forecasting experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of futuristic concepts into commercialized innovations
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
