Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions with rapid iteration cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation through competitive analysis and emerging technology scouting
- Mentor next-generation futurists and cultivate an innovation-first mindset
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $10M annually
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario development capabilities
- Published thought leadership in future technology (patents, whitepapers, TED talks)
- Experience managing global innovation teams and budgets over $5M
