Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends, market shifts, and societal patterns to inform 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Develop scenario-based models for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business implications
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through rapid experimentation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term innovation priorities
- Produce forward-looking reports and executive briefings on disruptive forces shaping 2026
- Establish KPIs to track strategic initiatives' impact on future market positioning
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial products or business models
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, white papers)
