Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ technological, economic, and social trends
- Develop predictive models using AI-driven analytics and macroeconomic indicators
- Design strategic frameworks for market entry into emerging sectors
- Present executive insights through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Coordinate with R&D to align innovation pipelines with future market demands
- Author quarterly future-state briefs for the board of directors
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking
- Proficiency in AI-powered forecasting tools (e.g., Palantir, Tableau)
- Published thought leadership in technology or business futurism
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year strategic foresight projects
