- Lead cross-functional workshops to map 2026 technological convergence points across AI, biotech, and space sectors
- Develop predictive models using proprietary quantum trend-analysis algorithms
- Present quarterly future-state briefings to C-suite and board members
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio for prototyping exponential technologies
- Author Horizon Dynamics' annual 'FutureScan' industry report
- Coordinate with global policy think tanks on regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or emerging technology consulting
- Published research in peer-reviewed future-science journals
- Proficiency in trend-forecasting tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains
- Experience presenting to executive audiences on abstract future concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization from foresight work
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
