Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, biotech acceleration, climate adaptation) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ horizons
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans using proprietary forecasting models and predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Monitor geopolitical and technological disruption signals to recommend strategic pivots
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused insights in industry journals
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
