Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, bio-digital convergence, AI governance) and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks for identifying paradigm-shifting innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on future technology adoption
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting technological adoption timelines
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into business strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills for future trend communication
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIF, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience presenting to executive boards and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable impact
