Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026+ technological convergence and market disruption
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state capabilities
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Scan' reports with actionable insights
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen products for 2025-2026 launch windows
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting long-term strategy
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary FutureCast methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with tech specialization
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological disruption
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum)
- Experience advising C-suite on multi-year digital transformation
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or equivalent preferred
