Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, neurotech) to create 2026+ strategic frameworks
- Develop scenario models for disruptive market shifts and regulatory impacts
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, policy, and design teams
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' reports for executive stakeholders
- Prototype future-concept solutions in our innovation sandbox
- Build partnerships with academic labs and government futurist units
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020+ technology predictions
- Strong background in AI, quantum computing, or biotech
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant field
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption
