- Develop strategic frameworks for market disruption scenarios in 3 key industry verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for investor and board communications
- Manage innovation pipeline with $15M+ R&D budget allocation
- Partner with policy teams to navigate regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or biotech
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership on technology disruption scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ trend prediction accuracy
