Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future market opportunities and disruption risks
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for executive stakeholders and investors
- Architect ethical innovation guidelines for AI and biotech deployments
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-forward concepts into 5-year roadmaps
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum AI)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
