Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze technological, social, and economic trends through 2026-2030 horizon
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise adaptation to disruptive innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Produce actionable whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging paradigm shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated market disruptions
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify strategic partnership opportunities
- Establish KPIs for measuring organizational preparedness for future transitions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy execution
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex scenarios to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications or journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools and strategic foresight software
