Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026 using trend analysis and predictive modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains: quantum applications, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with future market demands
- Produce foresight reports and scenario analyses for executive stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets in nascent tech sectors
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Published research on emerging tech trends (AI, biotech, or quantum computing)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, horizon scanning, and scenario planning
- Experience translating complex technological concepts into business strategies
- Track record of influencing product development through future-focused insights
- Strong network with academic futurists and industry innovators
