Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic trends, technological disruptions, and sociocultural shifts to identify opportunities for 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative future scenarios using predictive modeling and horizon scanning
- Architect strategic roadmaps that align organizational capabilities with emerging market realities
- Lead high-impact workshops with executive teams to align on future-proofing priorities
- Deliver compelling narratives through executive briefings, white papers, and stakeholder presentations
- Partner with R&D to incubate next-generation innovations with 5-10 year time horizons
- Monitor competitive landscapes and geopolitical factors to anticipate strategic inflection points
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and strategic roadmapping frameworks
- Proven track record of translating future insights into market-leading initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future strategies
