Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators and technological convergence patterns to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for AI, climate resilience, and biotechnology disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into strategic priorities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with quantitative risk assessments and opportunity matrices
- Advantage C-suite executives on long-term portfolio positioning and innovation investments
- Establish industry-wide foresight standards through thought leadership and speaking engagements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario modeling and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to executive audiences
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP from APF) strongly preferred
