Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-era solutions
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and market disruptors
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and climate-related disruptions
- Present futuristic visions to stakeholders through compelling data narratives
- Partner with venture teams to identify acquisition targets in nascent markets
- Mentor junior futurists on horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or emerging tech analysis
- Published thought leadership on future-tech trends (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
