Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, societal shifts, and market dynamics to identify 2026 disruptors
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework for the organization
- Translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps and business strategies
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Champion innovation culture through workshops, thought leadership, and internal education
- Monitor and report on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial implications
- Produce high-impact strategic whitepapers and thought leadership content
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record in scenario planning and trend analysis for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with data-driven decision-making
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Wild Cards)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or strategic impact
