Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for innovation adoption and competitive positioning
- Architect proof-of-concept projects for breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, etc.)
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-facing capabilities into development cycles
- Author thought leadership publications and industry foresight reports
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, space tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps
- Experience with global stakeholder management and executive presentations
