Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and forecast their impact on business models by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive market shifts and geopolitical uncertainties
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product innovation and strategic initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers to pioneer emerging technologies
- Author thought leadership reports and predictive frameworks for executive decision-making
- Monitor horizon-scanning metrics to maintain competitive advantage in rapidly evolving sectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in trend analysis, strategic planning, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and predictive modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published forecasts or implemented future-back strategies
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, weak signal analysis)
