Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology/society foresight framework with quarterly horizon scanning
- Produce strategic whitepapers and scenario models for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating AI, biotech, and space economics
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and government labs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and trend analysis
- Present at Davos-style summits and industry consortiums
- Quantify market opportunities in emerging sectors (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum internet)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology R&D
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate engineering, or space commercialization
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- Experience advising Fortune 500 C-suite on 10-year transformation
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction of market shifts (2018-2023)
