Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, scientific breakthroughs, and socio-economic shifts to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies like quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to prototype future-ready solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven risk/reward analyses
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership pieces on the future of work, human-AI collaboration, and sustainable tech
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for emerging technologies with 3-5 year horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Experience presenting complex futures concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio of published futures research or innovation roadmaps
