Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain the company's 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework with quarterly trend updates
- Design scenario-planning models for future market disruptions and competitive threats
- Present futuristic insights to executive leadership and board committees with data-driven recommendations
- Build cross-functional innovation pipelines integrating emerging technologies into core business units
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work and industry evolution
- Manage relationships with futurist research networks and academic institutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or equivalent field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP) or relevant futurist credential
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented strategic foresight projects
