Responsibilities
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive trends impacting 2026's business landscape
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum/AI convergence
- Author forward-looking strategic briefs for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects with 5-7 year commercialization horizons
- Establish global trend-monitoring networks across academia, startups, and policy institutions
- Translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps and investment theses
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating trend forecasting with 85%+ accuracy (3+ years validated)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals or top-tier tech media
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategic pivots
