Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends and disruptive forces affecting global markets by 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term innovation, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech advancements
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing principles into corporate strategy
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on future-proof business models and societal impacts
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on 2026+ vision and execution pathways
- Analyze geopolitical and macroeconomic indicators to anticipate systemic risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technological forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-vision work or implemented strategic foresight projects
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 5-10 year transformation strategies
