Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 societal and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen interfaces (AR/VR, neural, holographic)
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (quantum, biotech, AI alignment)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Partner with UN Technology Division on sustainable tech initiatives
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and government innovation councils
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for experimental technology incubation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on future technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
