Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with 2026+ impact
- Develop strategic frameworks for technology adoption and integration across enterprise functions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future vision and implementation roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and predictive models for stakeholder decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype futuristic solutions and validate market readiness
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and geopolitical factors affecting 2026 innovation landscapes
- Establish KPIs to measure strategic foresight effectiveness and ROI on future-oriented initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futurology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with demonstrable impact on future-facing initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, and climate tech
- Proven track record of translating complex futuristic concepts into executable business strategies
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Global network of innovators, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Published author in futurism, tech ethics, or strategic foresight (portfolio required)
- Ability to synthesize multidisciplinary data (biotech, climate, AI, policy) into coherent narratives
