Responsibilities
- Design and deploy 2026-ready technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and advanced AI systems
- Lead $50M+ innovation portfolios across climate tech, neuro-interfaces, and space exploration verticals
- Partner with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) to commercialize cutting-edge research
- Secure patents for at least 5 breakthrough technologies annually
- Mentor a team of 12+ PhD-level researchers and engineers
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Monitor geopolitical tech trends and adapt innovation strategies accordingly
- Drive ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering from Tier 1 institution
- 15+ years in R&D leadership with 5+ years in CTO/Chief Innovation Officer roles
- Proven track record of commercializing at least 3 breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, generative AI, and synthetic biology
- Published 20+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals
- Secured $100M+ in venture capital or government grants
- Experience managing global innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese for international partnerships
