Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight strategy using predictive analytics and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough innovations
- Translate complex technological trends into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Design and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies 3-5 years ahead
- Drive the creation of intellectual property portfolios through patent development and innovation roadmaps
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in advanced foresight methodologies and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption lifecycle management
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused technology initiatives
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies including quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technological concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading global innovation teams across multiple technology domains
