Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies, focusing on quantum-integrated AI systems and biotech convergence
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and commercialization teams
- Develop patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces and autonomous systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate emerging scientific research into scalable commercial applications
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of futurists, engineers, and data scientists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years leading complex R&D initiatives in tech or biotech innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI ethics
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes for future-tech deployment
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills
