Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Produce horizon-scanning reports identifying emerging market disruptions
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future trends into corporate strategy
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling vision proposals
- Present at global tech forums including CES and Web Summit
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for scale
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight qualification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating delivered innovation initiatives
