Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with ESG and UN SDG targets
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, carbon capture, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and sustainability impact
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members, securing executive buy-in
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and government innovation labs
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across 12 high-priority projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology leadership within Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Innovation Management
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or similar designation required
- Experience with agile development and stage-gate innovation processes
- Deep understanding of patent law and IP commercialization strategies
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
