Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional sprints with R&D, product, and venture teams
- Produce scenario analyses for emerging tech disruptions (Web4.0, AGI, climate tech)
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and partnerships with DARPA/NSF
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and engineers through quarterly hackathons
- Present findings to C-suite and board members with data-driven narratives
- Patent 3+ breakthrough technologies annually through rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Science or equivalent experience with 7+ years in tech strategy
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies (2018-2023)
- Proven track record scaling innovation programs to $100M+ impact
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, neural architecture search, or synthetic biology
- Portfolio of 5+ commercialized products with exponential growth metrics
- Clearance for federal innovation initiatives (preferred, not required)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and scenario planning tools
