Responsibilities
- Lead strategic innovation initiatives for 2026, identifying emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Architect and implement R&D roadmaps spanning quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Direct cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists in rapid prototyping cycles
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Develop market entry strategies for breakthrough technologies with $100M+ potential
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes
- Secure and manage innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record launching at least three market-defining technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of futuristic concepts
