Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Develop innovation frameworks and roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Facilitate strategic workshops with C-suite executives and external futurists
- Translate complex future scenarios into executable product development plans
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of academic, startup, and industry partnerships
- Present strategic foresight findings to stakeholders and investors
- Champion ethical innovation principles across all R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Expertise in exponential technology trends (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Strong systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, backcasting)
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or thought leadership
