Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle for 2026 Olympics bid and preparation phases
- Coordinate with IOC, USOPC, and local government officials to ensure compliance
- Manage cross-functional teams across venue development, marketing, and operations
- Develop and control multi-million dollar budgets with rigorous financial oversight
- Implement risk mitigation strategies for geopolitical, logistical, and operational challenges
- Drive sustainability initiatives and community engagement programs
- Report progress to executive stakeholders and adjust strategies dynamically
Qualifications
- 10+ years in large-scale event management or mega-project leadership
- Proven experience with Olympic committees or international sports federations
- PMP certification or equivalent advanced project management credentials
- Expertise in government relations and stakeholder diplomacy
- Advanced financial modeling and budget management skills
- Exceptional crisis management and contingency planning abilities
- Track record of delivering complex projects on aggressive timelines
