Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant encryption protocols for post-quantum security
- Lead 15-member research team across 3 global labs (SF, Zurich, Tokyo)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop 500-qubit fault-tolerant processors
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Define industry standards for quantum-safe blockchain infrastructure
- Present findings at World Economic Forum and IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field
- 8+ years experience with quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Published author in top-tier quantum journals (min. 5 citations)
- Expertise in Cirq, Qiskit, and Q# programming frameworks
- Proven track record leading $1M+ research projects
- Security clearance (active or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in Python/C++ with low-level optimization experience
