Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Drive innovation through R&D initiatives and proof-of-concept projects
- Mentor senior technologists and foster a future-ready organizational culture
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of implementing future-forward tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, Web3, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS, PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
