Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and social trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market leadership
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with future market demands
- Produce executive-ready trend reports with actionable recommendations for R&D prioritization
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist networks, academic partnerships, and industry disruptors
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing technologies and customer experience evolution
- Represent Nexus Innovations at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills for complex future concepts
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism, technology ethics, or market evolution
- Experience with horizon scanning tools like Delphi method, weak signal analysis, or system dynamics modeling
