Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year scenario planning for 2026 market landscapes across AI, biotechnology, and quantum computing sectors
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and paradigm shifts
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish cross-functional innovation incubators for 2026-vetted opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications positioning FutureHorizon as a 2026 technology pioneer
- Partner with R&D to prioritize breakthrough projects aligned with 2026 strategic imperatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or technology foresight
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record of implementing technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, synthetic biology, or quantum computing
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-building capabilities using tools like STEEP analysis
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or exponential growth
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year+ technology implementations
