Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 2026 technology vision roadmap aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies including quantum computing, advanced AI, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into business operations
- Manage a portfolio of pilot projects testing 2026-viable technologies in real-world scenarios
- Present compelling tech foresight analyses to stakeholders and industry conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with proven future-planning experience
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on technological forecasting (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M and cross-functional teams of 20+
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis tools
- Entrepreneurial mindset with successful track record of launching innovative products
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE, HYPE) preferred
